In an interview that lasted two hours, A-Rod was described as "cooperative" by Major League Baseball officials.
Intimate details about the interview were of course kept private, and it is anyone's guess what was actually said during the process.
It has been MLB's agenda all along to bring down the large suppliers by tightening the vice around the users caught red-handed.
The motive for this interrogation is in all likelihood to determine if Yuri Sucart was involved in the distribution of banned substances to players outside of the family.
If Sucart was obtaining and supplying steroids on a broader scale, it would help to uncover more inner workings of the concealed steroid network.
Furthermore, more secrets could be revealed in the event that Sucart is simply being used as a cover-up for a more intricate operation.
Rodriguez did have two lawyers present to protect his rights and to make sure he did not slip up. As a result, I am confident that very little new information was volunteered.
