Yankees Look Alike Contest, Entry No. 2: Cody Ransom

A few weeks ago, I brought the uncanny resemblance of Yankees RF Xavier Nady and Back to the Future actor Crispin Glover.

As a quick reminder, here are the two photos again (there were videos that greatly emphasized the point as well):



Give Glover a batting helmet and Nady a clean shave, and they appear as brothers separated at birth.

I now bring you the 2nd edition of the New York Yankees look alike contest.

This week's contestant is none other than Cody Ransom, the Yankees 3B replacement for superstar Alex Rodriguez.

Though his look alike may be more accomplished and famous than Ransom himself, the comparison in features cannot be ignored.

Many readers in their 20s and 30s are sure to remember Wes Craven's Scream series on the big screen.

As embarrassing as it is to admit, I did lose a few nights of sleep after watching the first movie at the age of 8.

One of the actors in the movie, however, has apparently been working on his glove and bat control as much as his acting skills.

If you recall the movie, actress Neve Campbell had a secretly insane boyfriend who was part of a vengeful killing spree (sorry to destroy a decade old movie's ending for you).

The name of the actor that played the role is an absolute ringer for 3B Cody Ransom. His name is Skeet Ulrich.
